River Wandle, Wandsworth

Various inks and graphite on paper, 21/01/2015

At this point on its journey, the River Wandle, which is a tributary of the River Thames, is canalised. On the right is the remains of the Young's Brewery which has been largely reduced to rubble to make way for a new development of high-rise flats and retail units along a remodelled river bank. At bottom left is part of a small triangular area of public space referred to on redevelopment plans as "unnamed space".
